Swedish Massage
The classic, full-body relaxation massage. This type of massage, both therapeutic and soothing, incorporates long, rhythmic strokes and other techniques designed to ease tension, relieve sore, tired muscles, and promote circulation. Medium pressure is used, but can be lighter or firmer according to your wishes. One of the most popular choices for massage.
Deep Tissue Massage
For the client who needs more specific, focused work. This massage can be full-body or delegated only to the areas that need the most attention. Trigger point work and other techniques are utilized to reduce adhesions in the muscle fibers, elongate shortened, contracted muscles, and relieve pain. Strong pressure is used, but we will discuss before and during the session how to ensure the work is within your tolerance limits so you will enjoy great results.
Combination Massage
Another popular choice, this massage brings out the best of both Swedish and Deep Tissue work. Pressure can be adjusted throughout, and while more focused techniques are applied to the areas that need more relief, soothing strokes are utilized to relax the rest of the body.
Pregnancy Massage
This massage caters to the specific needs of a woman's
body as she goes throughout her pregnancy. Since the body goes through many changes as a woman moves toward her due date, various techniques are applied to relieve low back pain, sciatica, upper back tension, edema, and tired, sore feet.
This massage is available after the first trimester of pregnancy. In case of any medical issues you may be experiencing in your pregnancy, it is always beneficial to include your health care provider in your decision to receive massage. I do ask that you consult your doctor or midwife prior to our first session, to ensure that you are enjoying a healthy pregnancy and there are no contraindications for massage at this time.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a method of manipulating certain areas, or reflexes, of the feet that correspond to different organs and systems of the body. The reflexes are stimulated via pressure point work and other techniques. The purpose and general effect of reflexology on the body is profound relaxation, detoxification, improved circulation, and regained equilibrium or balance within the body's internal workings.
Though the results are different for everyone, reflexology can potentially be helpful for people dealing with high or low blood pressure or other circulatory issues, digestive disorders, anxiety, depression, PMS or other hormonal imbalances, insomnia, stress, headaches, edema, and many other issues. Reflexology can be booked as its own session, or incoporated into a body massage.
